My dear readers,
I will begin this post with an apology. When Lila Dubois and I decided to self-publish, we knew there would be a learning curve. I don’t think we realized just how enormous it would be. Lila’s very lovely husband offered to take care of the formatting side of our project and he did a wonderful job. Unfortunately, Lila gave him a very early, unedited version of Elemental Pleasure to upload by accident. In Lila’s defense, she’s been juggling way too many balls lately and I’ve told her so. It was an honest mistake and I’m not sure anyone could be more upset about this than she is.
If you bought the story, opened it and thought what is WTH? I’m so, so sorry. Please know that Lila and I are working FAST and FURIOUS to upload the correct book. I’ve been told by some lovely readers that Amazon and Barnes and Noble will email to let you know that the new book is available for download. Lila’s hubby is currently working on taking the bad files down from the sites until we can get the correct story up. It’s going to take a bit longer because I’m now completely trigger-shy and am re-reading the entire story at a snail’s pace to ensure it’s as close to perfect as I can get it. I take my stories very seriously and I never want anyone to think I take their support for granted. I have the most wonderful readers in the world and I never want to do anything to jeopardize your faith in me.
I hope you will give the series another chance. I still believe in these stories and this new world Lila and I created. It’s sexy, hot, romantic, suspenseful and just a wee bit more wicked than my norm. I’ll post again as soon as the new file goes up.

January 21st, 2013 at 6:59 pmThese things happen Mari… when working on my first website… I had it already to launch and then something went wrong with the hosting company… which put back the opening back 2 months… I was livid needless to say and so worried because of all my advance self publishing of dates, etc… but years later… I can laugh about it.
Everyday always brings something new to the table… and we always learn from mistakes made… we all love your stories and I’m sure that your loyal fans will definitely be shouting out this new exciting series once it’s back up… I know I’m looking forward to reading it. Tell Lila to not stress to much… things happen!
