Reviews – Erotic Research
Lately I have to confess I’ve been getting some pretty great reviews on my stories and it got me to thinking that I never really share them. I have a folder for reviews for every book I’ve ever written and I save them all–good and not-so-good ones. So, I thought I’d start a new ‘theme’ day. Saturday is snippet day. I think Thursday will be review days.
So I thought I’d kick off the party with Erotic Research reviews. Erotic Research was my very first book and it seems only fitting that I start at the beginning. Plus I’m just sort of OCD that way!
The Good, The Bad, and The Unread gave Erotic Research an A. I can still remember getting that awesome grade! Super exciting.
“This book is SO good!” “I want everyone to read this story.” “I’ll definitely be looking for more from Mari Carr.” “Grade A”
From The Romance Studio
“4 Hearts!” “…a thoughtful and sexy romance.” Amusing sexual antics gave this book a sexy and spicy edge.” – Sarah W.
“5 Angels!” “Erotic Research immediately drew me in like a fly to a Venus flytrap.” – Shira
From Joyfully Reviewed (and yes, this review is how I met Jambrea–the beginning of a very treasured friendship)
“Joyfully Recommended” “I was left with a smile on my face and tears in my eyes, which is why I am Joyfully Recommending Erotic Research.” -Jambrea
From RRT Erotic
“For a lighthearted, yet searing romance, Mari Carr will have you wanting to do a little EROTIC RESEARCH of your own.” – Courtney Michelle
From Two Lips Reviews
“Mari Carr has a winner on her hands with Erotic Research. Ross is a playboy editor in love with his top selling writer, while Julia is the gun shy author. She has lost everyone in her life that she cares bout, so to protect herself, she has locked her heart away in hopes it will never be broken again. However, with Ross, Julia finds out that locking her heart away won’t prevent the hurt of loss. Erotic Research has plenty of steamy hot sex to keep you warmed up and turning the pages!” – Tina
“This was a purely character-driven book that had enough body to it to keep me interested from the first to the last page and in the vast amount of erotically charged romances Mari Carr has definitely captured my attention with a story that I found myself fascinated with to no end and I’m glad I have more of her books in my possession.”
And last, but not least, Mrs. Giggles, who always finds a way to make me laugh through my tears!
“What of its advantages, you ask? Hmm, I’ll have to think long and hard about that one. Well, it’s a short story so it’s more like sitting through an unpleasant session with the dentist rather than undergoing a surgery without anesthesia. That has to count for something, right?” Mrs. Giggles. Rating – 53
