What’s new!

I’ve been super busy lately as you can probably tell from my LACK of blogging. Sorry for the lapse. I’ve actually had a lot of exciting things going on–some I can talk about and some I can’t (just yet). Last week was perhaps one of my best weeks EVER in terms of my writing career.

First of all, my Ellora’s Cave editor loved Friday I’m in Love and she offered me a contract for book five in the Wild Irish series. I’m very excited about that. I signed the contract and slammed it in the mail first thing on Friday (what a coincidence) morning. It will fall in the Moderne category with (and this is a first for me) a comedy icon. I’ve always incorporated humor into my stories, but I sort of pulled out all the stops with Friday’s book…and Saturday Night Special. Yep, that’s right! Riley’s story, book six in the series, is written and in the hands of my editor. Let the nail biting commence. I’m very sad to think that the only book left to write is Sean’s. I’m really going to miss this Collins family!

rekindled_9781419929274_KBSI also received my cover for Rekindled, the sequel to Spitfire. Both are cowboy quickies–yee haw! What do you think? That guy’s sort of super hot, right?!

Here’s the blurb:

It’s been a year since her husband’s passing, and running the ranch is taking its toll on Claire Hutchins. Independent as the day is long, she concedes the need for help. She wants a foreman, an employee to run the day-to-day who can handle a woman calling the shots. Someone who won’t give her any trouble…

Who shows up at her door, first in line for the job? Jeb Carter. Ex-high-school sweetheart. Longtime rodeo star. And the one man capable of making Claire’s lust burn out of control…of making her surrender completely.

Trouble has finally come calling…and he’s as irresistible as ever.

You can find an excerpt of the story here.

I also signed a contract for my next book in the Black & White series, Happy Hour. Tentative release is scheduled for October of this year and I hope to have a cover to share with you very soon. Here’s the unedited blurb I’ve written. Rest assured my editor will make this ‘poor’ attempt of mine MUCH better. She always does. LOL

Here’s to heated glances and second chances.

After years of having her days filled to the brim being a working single mother, Grace Wright is about to become an empty nester. The only bright spot remaining is her crew of co-workers from school, including the younger hunky PE teacher, Jamie Fisher. Up until now the difference in their ages has made him ideal material for naughty fantasies, but nothing more. Hitting this crossroads puts Grace into new frame of mind, and she screws up her courage and allows a little of her desires to rise the surface.

Jamie’s had his eye on the sexy widow for years, but the time to approach her has never felt right. When the crew hits their usual pub for Happy Hour, he’s thrilled to catch the new sexual signals she’s giving off. Unfortunately, he’s not the only man to notice—his best friend, Trey, is also hot for Grace.

Together, they make Grace the offer of a lifetime and she jumps at the chance as the threesome spends one night indulging every desire, every craving. Trey says goodbye in the morning, but Jamie asks Grace to stay, leaving her to wonder: will one more night be enough, or can happy hour become a happier lifetime?

Pour yourself a tall, cool one with plenty of ice because this happy hour of reading contains a red hot m/f/m ménage, anal sex, graphic language, bondage, and toys. How ’bout another round?

And finally…some hints on the super sekrit stuff…

I’ve had an offer on a new book from a new-to-me publisher and I’ve proposed a series with a fellow International Heat author and we’ve had an offer to contract it.

See what I mean! Huge week for me. One of the best evah!
