Sweet Thursday Contest Details

sweetthursday_msr

It all started with a desire to write a series and a nursery rhyme. Nearly a year ago, I decided I wanted to challenge myself with a full-fledged series. I’m a huge fan of Lora Leigh’s Men of August, Lauren Dane’s Chase Brothers, and Madison Hayes’ Calendar Girls. After searching for an ‘angle’, I decided to create a series around the days of the week and the old nursery rhyme, Monday’s Child. Here I am nearly a year later. Five of the seven books are written and fourth is going to be released this Friday!

Come Monday, Ruby Tuesday, and Waiting for Wednesday are already available at Ellora’s Cave. Check out the Wild Irish page to read the excerpts and blurbs for these three stories.

So, the contest part…each day until Friday, I’ll be sharing little tidbits about the Wild Irish and asking a question. Simply answer the question in the comment section to be entered. If you answer each daily question until Friday, your name will be thrown in the hat five times. Five chances to win!

And the prize? Well, it’s a two-parter. I will email the winner an ebook copy of Sweet Thursday on Friday morning AND snail mail some fun promo goodies I took to the Romantic Times conference, bookmarks and other assorted stuff.

So…the Sunday question is this – What’s your favorite ebook series?

I love so many but the one that comes to mind is NJ Walters Awakening Desires. I remember devouring each book as soon as it was released and then anxiously waiting for the next one. Of Course she wrote Jackson’s book last, but it was well worth the wait.

I also enjoy Lora Leigh’s Breeds, Jaci Burton Storm series and Michelle Pillow Dragon Lords to name just a few.

I can’t wait for Sweet Thursday to be released, congrats on a great series.

I have to say Vivian Arends Wolf series. It’s really the only one I’m into and the first e-series for me.

Well crap lol. I’ve kinda got a confession I haven’t read a full series on ebook. *ducks for cover* in my defense I have only recently descovered the wonderful world of ebooks I think 4 months ago. (thats my story and I am sticking to it) But I am looking forward to reading some once I talk DH into buying me a ereader our anniversary is on Thursday maybe I can then…. I do have the beginning to some series so lets see what kind of trouble I can get in lol.

Well I am have about fifty. But the one that sticks out at the moment is Mary Hughes and her Biting series. They are hilarious and the bad puns just make you smile.

  10. By Susan C. on

There are so many. But, if I had to pick just one, it would be Joey W. Hill’s Natural Desires series. Otherwise, your Wild Irish, Lora Leigh’s Bound Hearts and her Breeds, Jory Strong’s Crime Tells, Shiloh Walker’s Hunters, NJ Walter’s Awakening Desires, Samantha Kane’s Brothers in Arms, Kim Dare’s G-A-Y, Cherise Sinclair’s Masters of the Shadowlands. I guess I’ll stop there!

  11. By Little Lamb Lost on

Had to think on that question. Denise Rossetti’s Phoenix Rising Series really made an impression on me. Love those stories.

    Shelly Laurenston’s Magnus Pack Series,
    Maya Banks Sweet Series,
    Lora Leigh’s Breed Series,
R.G. Alexander’s Children of the Goddess Series,

That’s all I can think of at the moment.

  19. By Fedora on

Hmm… I’m not sure I can choose just one e-book series, Mari! At this moment, I’ll go with Moira’s Sanctuary series 🙂 (But that can change at the drop of a hat… so many wonderful books!)

I am partial to Samantha Kane’s Brothers in Arms series because it was the first time I ever read an e-book. 🙂

  22. By Robin S. on

Favorite ebook series, hmm must think about that. I know I love shape shifters and will read any book with them in it. Moira Rogers has a series that I like Sanctuary Lost, Sanctuary’s Price, Cry Sanctuary and I’m not sure if CRUX is part of it or not. I also follow Lora Leigh’s Breed series. I’ve discovered new authors like yourself at CTR & Samhain’s Spring Showers Contest event. TBR mountain is over 550 now because of it. Vivian Arend also has a dolphin shifter but I’m not sure if that is a series. Well that about covers it except I also love Kate Douglas’ Chanku series.

  23. By Dana on

Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward
