What’s going on?
I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted a blog in which I actually say something (LOL), so I thought I’d take a few minutes to catch y’all up to speed. I’ve been writing at the speed of light lately, which is good and bad. Good because it means I have new submissions with my editors at Samhain and Ellora’s Cave as we speak. Bad because I’m breaking yet another New Year’s Resolution. Why do I make these things? This year’s resolution was to slow down on my writing and to remember to take a look around me (aka try to recall that I have children and a husband!). My goal was to write a book every two months. Well, now it’s mid-April and I’ve written Sweet Thursday, Friday I’m in Love, and Happy Hour. According to my International Heat pals, that means I’m covered until June!
I may actually need that time as I will be attending Romantic Times convention at the end of this month, only to return to the end of my school year–still have a prom to chaperone, three graduation practices, a yearbook signing party and graduation to survive. May and the beginning of June are brutal in the life of a high school teacher! I have some friends coming to visit in May as well. I cannot attend the Lori Foster get together this year because of my role as senior class sponsor, but I do plan to go to RAW in Sept. and Romanticon in Oct.
All of my books are now available at amazon, about half are up at Sony, all the Samhain, plus Everything Nice and Kiss Me Kate are on the virtual bookshelf at Barnes and Noble. All my books should be available at all these places in the coming months and I’m excited about that.
Sweet Thursday has a cover and it’s up on the coming soon page. I’m expecting edits on it any day and once those are completed, I’ll have a release date to share. Fingers crossed for May.
Well, I guess that’s everything that’s been going on in my life! Happy spring!
