Luuuuucy–I’m home!

Yep, I’m just now coming back to my normal life after a month and a half of running around like a lunatic. May and early June were such a blur to me, I’m still not sure what I did. Since the beginning of May, I put on a prom, entertained my critique partner on three different visits to my house (she bounced up and down the east coast for 8 weeks!), wrote the commencement address for my school’s graduation ceremony, traveled to the Lori Foster event in Ohio, and worked on revisions for two books (Spitfire at EC and Because of You at SP). In addition to going to work everyday!

What I didn’t do was write. And I’ve missed it terribly. With school out for the summer, I have lots of stories swimming around in my head all fighting to be released to the page. I plan to begin work on a cougar novella tentatively titled Building Bridges that I want to submit to Ellora’s Cave. I’ve been dared by the gals at International Heat to try my hand at a Spice Brief and I can never resist a dare. I’ve also promised Val Tibbs I will finish the shifter book and Jambrea Jo Jones that we will finish Speed Dating. Hmmm…have I mentioned my summer vacation is only 8 weeks long? Did I mention the 4 day trip to New York or the three week excursion cross country?

Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!! Anybody else have fun plans for the summer?

Gotta love the Lucy I’m Home title. I haven’t been on your website for a few months. I can’t believe how it has grown. I really am proud of you – you are a great writer and friend. Loved the pop ups – I used to love the videos too.
