The Latest News

I thought I’d jot down a couple of the fun, sort of silly things I’ve been doing lately to break up the monotony of the EDJ (Evil Day Job)! For the last few weeks, I’ve been participating in Karen Tabke’s First Line contest. So far so good–I’m up to round four. BUT I have to say that I don’t anticipate hanging in there much longer. Some of these stories are incredibly compelling! Here’s the link if you want to take a peak:

I’m scheduled to blog on the Samhain weblog on January 17. I’m writing about authors and their playlists if you want to head over and check it out on that day. Here’s the link:

I’m also thinking about submitting a story for the newest Samhain Anthology call-Samhain in a Bind. It’s all about bondage and the Hollywood story I’ve been working on, The Darkest Night, actually seems to fit the bill. I may throw my hat in the ring once the story is completed. Submissions need to be around 25K and are due by April 15. So far I’ve written a whopping 8K so I suppose time will tell!

Other than that, I’m back at work after a lovely two week holiday for Christmas. We had an unexpected snow day yesterday (yep I’m a teacher) so I spent the whole day completing the first round of rewrites for Everything Nice. Can’t wait til the story is released, but I’m also a bit nervous as it’s my first attempt at an m/m/f menage story.

Reading-wise, I’m nearly finished The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield–a wonderful gothic mystery and I have Plum Spooky by Janet Evanovich (LOVE her) and Only Pleasure by Lora Leigh (LOVE her too) waiting in the wings.

Happy Reading!
